Health Promotion and Rights Watch Uganda (HPRW)

Health Promotion and Rights Watch Uganda (HPRW) is an indigenous Ugandan non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to, promoting health and improving living conditions of underprivileged and vulnerable people of Uganda through disease prevention, social mobilization, advocacy, and capacity-building interventions.

With a focus on collaboration and strategic initiatives, we work to ensure access to quality health services and uphold the principles of human rights and social justice. Join us in creating a healthier and more equitable Uganda for all.

We develop and implement a tailored nutritional support programs within the Integrated Small Household Enterprise Model.

Gender Inequality in Access to Resources and Decision-Making Related to Nutrition and Food Security

We facilitate access to land, resources, and education for women by creating platforms that promote shared decision-making and enhance skills in food production and household-level planning

Community-based capacity in sustainable agricultural practices and food production:

We empower households, especially women farmers, through training in sustainable, diversified farming practices.

Market Linkages and Value Chain Development

We aim to connect target groups to markets and enhance their ability to compete effectively. By fostering partnerships, improving access to market information, and training individuals in value addition, beneficiaries can maximize the value of their products and services.

Awareness and Improving Accessibility

We Engage communities through targeted awareness campaigns and involving leaders as advocates fosters an environment where individuals can access services without stigma.

Skills Development and Economic Empowerment

By enhancing vocational, technical, and entrepreneurial capacities, individuals can engage in productive activities, improve their income levels, and strengthen their economic independence.
